Celebration of Latino Film, Music and Art Scheduled for March 9 – 19, 2006 at UltraStar’s Mission Valley at Hazard Center
San Diego – Media Arts Center San Diego's prestigious and internationally recognized San Diego Latino Film Festival, soars into its' 13th year with impressive and exhilarating activities, special events and initiatives. Taking place March 9 – 19, 2006 at UltraStar’s Mission Valley at Hazard Center, the festival will feature more than 100 film screenings celebrating the best in Latino cinema from around the world. Additional activities include Sonido Latino concerts, Arte Latino art exhibitions, festive galas and educational workshops. Film highlights include the American made documentary Favela Rising and feature films Al Otro Lado from Mexico and Romeo & Juliet Get Married from Brazil.
